Description

Mantra Tuta is a premium-grade pheromone nano-lure scientifically engineered for the highly targeted monitoring and mass trapping of the Tomato Leafminer (Tuta absoluta) in tomato and other Solanaceous crops. Formulated with high-purity synthetic sex pheromones encapsulated in durable, controlled-release polyethylene vials, this lure selectively attracts adult male moths. By isolating the target pest without harming beneficial or non-target predatory insects, it serves as an indispensable tool for sustainable Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.

For optimal field efficacy, the lure should be deployed in water traps or yellow sticky traps positioned uniformly across the cultivated area, just above the crop canopy and away from borders. For pest monitoring and early detection, a dosage of 15 traps per acre is recommended, while active mass trapping programs require a density of at least 30 traps per acre. Each nano-lure provides a sustained, weather-resistant release of pheromone for 60 to 90 days, ensuring long-term field protection.
